#HClassBlog - "That''s The Breaks" - April 22, 2026

Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Hera, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing volleyball and practicing karate. The Rose: This week our class went to the park for our gym period! We had lots of fun playing soccer, volleyball and badminton outside and enjoyed the nice weather this week. The Thorn: Unfortunately, our classmate, Hadley, has been sick for a few weeks. We sent her some get well videos and are hoping she can come back soon! Feel better Hadley!  The Bud: Next week we have a school dance on Thursday, April 23rd. Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Oba, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 6 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing video games, basketball and watching the series One Piece . The Rose: The rose of this week is the way our class continued to show excellent self regulation. We also found out the movie we will be seeing for our year end trip is The Mandalorian And Grogu. Mr. Hodgkinson said he is already working on a unit to set it up for us. The Thorn: We have none this time and that's a good thing. Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Josiah and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, track and field as well  as mingling around with friends and family and, most importantly, going to church. The Rose: We got to play fun gym games for a full hour with the other grade 6-7 class on Thursday. Then, we got to rest our bodies and minds with a four-day Easter weekend. We also have a four day school week coming up. The Bud: Next week, we're going to watch the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty movie along with having that easy four day week! Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Maddox, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing hockey, fishing (especially), golfing, riding my dirt bike (and soon to be an e-bike), exploring, shopping, and hanging out with friends & family. The Rose: We learned that our old teacher candidate Mr. Teixeira was coming back to our class to help out again. Mr. Teixeira was our teacher candidate back in February for several months. Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Tomoya, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade #7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing a lot of sports, like soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. I also like playing video games with my friends. The Rose: We are finally hitting spring weather. (It may be a fake spring, but that's okay) It is getting warmer and snow is starting to melt. We can take our jackets and boots off and change to sweaters and shoes. Also, badminton tryouts started. We were eager for this to start. #HClassBlog - "We Are The Champions" - March 3, 2026

Hello everyone! My name is Saqeef, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing sports like volleyball, badminton, and soccer, and I play the trombone, the piano, and the guitar!  For the FIRST TIME EVER in Sir Arthur Currie P.S. history, our boys volleyball team won the Valley Finals! The boys worked hard and never gave up, and all the work paid off. Three people in our class are on the team. Jackson, Deyaa, and me! Here is a photo of the team! Badminton season will be starting up soon, the grade 7’s and 8’s of Sir Arthur Currie will be trying out for the team! We have been learning about algebra, and isolating variables to find a value. A phrase that our class constantly says is, “A letter is a variable, and a variable is a letter.” A variable represents a value that changes and varies, hence the name. Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Nishant, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing outside especially in the summer. Also, my favourite school subject other than gym is science. The Rose:  We had a great lesson from our Teacher Candidate (Student Teacher) Mr. Teixeira who is with us for four weeks from Nipissing University. His lesson was on POV (point of view). Throughout the week he taught us many lessons with care and effectiveness. Another lesson he introduced to us was Algebra, and we loved it.  Mr. Teixeira teaching us floor hockey last week. The Bud:  Our class is waiting for their Sweet Acts of Kindness Lollipops next week. The Sweet Acts of Kindness is a Grade 8 fundraiser that always takes place around Valentine’s Day.
