#HClassBlog - “My Adidas Shoes are Cursed with 3rd Place” - June, 5, 2026

Introduction: 

If you don’t know me already, I’m Saqeef, and I have written the #HClass25 blog once before! I enjoy playing sports like badminton, volleyball, and soccer! And my favourite food is gnocchi, a kind of Italian pasta!

The Rose:
On Wednesday, May 27, Muslims all around the school and the world celebrated the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha! Eid al-Adha is the final day of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims believe that these 10 days are the best of the year because the Islamic god, Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala), loves good deeds the most in these 10 days.

The Thorn:

Most grade 7’s in the school had to take mandatory vaccines for diseases. In other words, needles went up a bunch of poor kid’s arms… Luckily, everyone who got their shots pulled through, and have survived the pain!

The Bud:

Bennett, a person in our class, birthday is coming up! Happy birthday Bennett!

Science

In science, our class has partnered up with another Grade 7 class while the Grade 6 students are writing the EQAO tests. We made groups and have started designing and creating cardboard arcade games from scratch! Some of the games include Air-Hockey, Skee-ball, a slot machine? Anything we wanted to create! Next week we will invite the primary and junior students to our fun fair to try the games out.

Athletics

Now that the Track and Field day in Sir Arthur Currie has finished, the top two athletes in each event and grade got to go to Regionals! Congratulations to all the athletes that participated.

Well, that’s all the events that are happening in our class. Wherever you are, maybe on a flight to Brazil, in your bed at night, at your best friend’s party, I wish you the very best. Have a great day, or night, or evening!

#HClassBlog - Saqeef was drinking water out of a plastic bag - February 25, 2026

Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Nishant, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy playing outside especially in the summer. Also, my favourite school subject other than gym is science. The Rose:  We had a great lesson from our Teacher Candidate (Student Teacher) Mr. Teixeira who is with us for four weeks from Nipissing University. His lesson was on POV (point of view). Throughout the week he taught us many lessons with care and effectiveness. Another lesson he introduced to us was Algebra, and we loved it.  Mr. Teixeira teaching us floor hockey last week. The Bud:  Our class is waiting for their Sweet Acts of Kindness Lollipops next week. The Sweet Acts of Kindness is a Grade 8 fundraiser that always takes place around Valentine’s Day. #HClassBlog - "That''s The Breaks" - April 22, 2026

Introduction:  Hello everyone! My name is Hera, and this week, I will be writing the blog for #HClass25. I am a Grade 7 student at Sir Arthur Currie and I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing volleyball and practicing karate. The Rose: This week our class went to the park for our gym period! We had lots of fun playing soccer, volleyball and badminton outside and enjoyed the nice weather this week. The Thorn: Unfortunately, our classmate, Hadley, has been sick for a few weeks.
