Introduction: If you don’t know me already, I’m Saqeef, and I have written the #HClass25 blog once before! I enjoy playing sports like badminton, volleyball, and soccer! And my favourite food is gnocchi, a kind of Italian pasta! The Rose: On Wednesday, May 27, Muslims all around the school and the world celebrated the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha! Eid al-Adha is the final day of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims believe that these 10 days are the best of the year because the Islamic god, Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala), loves good deeds the most in these 10 days. The Thorn: Most grade 7’s in the school had to take mandatory vaccines for diseases. In other words, needles went up a bunch of poor kid’s arms… Luckily, everyone who got their shots pulled through, and have survived the pain!
