We’re good friends who love hanging out with our friends. Natalie really likes gymnastics and Sydney likes drawing and teaching her dog new tricks. The Rose It was Family Day last week. We like school, but you can’t beat a long weekend. It was also Carnivale. It is the first time in nearly two years that we have been able to do something as a school. It felt so good to be outside with everyone from Grade 4 - 8. The Grade 8s ran each station and the Grade 7s were team captains to help out the students in the Junior Grades. We were Team 8 - check out the sign we made. The Thorn The cold weather continued…especially on Wednesday. We are hopeful that spring is coming soon.  The Bud   Next week is a short one. We get school off on Friday. Mr. Hodgkinson says he has to learn with other teachers…but that seems a lot easier than tea...

  Introduction "Own work Bro" - AQ to a classmate Introduction Hi my name is Naimat and Mr.Hodgkinson has asked me to write the blog for this week. It is my fourth year at Sir Arthur Currie. My favourite subject is science and I like to paint in my spare time. The Rose There wasn’t that much snow this week which is a good thing because for gym we got to go outside and had a long walk in the forest we put some food for the birds. And another great thing happened. Intramural badminton and Dance Club started! Both take place during Nutrition Breaks. Many of the students in the class joined one, or both. I didn't because I don't have any interest in those things. Still, people were excited. My classmates practicing serves The Thorn We had to write a French test. I know that tests are important to check in to see where we are, but a lot of us find them stressful. Hopefully everyone did okay on it. I got a pretty good 75%. I'm happy with that. Introduction This week’s writer is Henry. My favorite subject is math (nerd!!!!) and I like super cool stuff that you can’t even begin to comprehend. Also, I likes throwing my friends into lava. Classroom Quote Of The Week! "I feel like I'm in a social quarantine". (Kyusung) The Rose This week was a great week! On Wednesday, it was Global School Play Day (GSPD), which means we got a whole day off just to have fun and relax! GSPD is an annual event where schools are encouraged to give their students a full day to play. After all, "Play is the work of a child". The only rules are...be safe and no screens. We built blanket forts, brought in board games, played cards & chess, and built crafts together. At one point we moved the furniture and played "Gaga Ball" right in the portable. We even went over to the park to play outside even though it was cold and snowy. Not regular snow either. The really wet stuff. Another awesome things happened this week. W...
